Amici Sushi in Latdrop

The sushi here is always really good. I like the lathrop roll but I just tried Red Ocean and it's so good! The lemon slices really add a nice twist to the flavor.

This place is fabulous! My husband and I travel for a living and stop for sushi most places. This place did not disappoint!! The food tasted great, there were many creative rolls and dishes as well as the staples. The presentation was beautiful and the atmosphere and staff were both fabulous. We'll definitely be repeat customers.

Best sushi!! We ordered spicy tuna&salmon roll and Philadelphia rolls. The price is same to what we pay in LA. I noticed many mentioned it but it's worth every penny!!! Nothing good ever comes cheap.

Definitly one of the best sushi restaurants ive been too in CA. Getting the Gyozo, Chicken Katsu and a roll of Shrimp Tempura is a wonderful combintion for a dinner. The meal was excellent

Sushi here is very very good. Even the wakame salad (which is very small and simple) is delicious... They have a small liquor / wine / beer selection too. A little overpriced in my personal experience of Sushi goings, but it can be beat for taste in the Lathrop area.

Compared to bay area sushi places; the flavors were sub par, the rice was chewy, the onion was soggy. Wait time was longer than expected, too much rice not enough fish. Fish did not stand out in the rolls.

The food is so fresh here and the owners and chefs love what they do and it shows in the quality of their food. That is what you are paying if you are gonna compare other sushi restaurants to Amici. I ordered the Salmon belly which litterally melts in your mouth and sadly is over before you realize how delicious it is and the Sashimi Mariowase and was surprised to see a fried Black Cod that not only adds to the presentation but you also better eat it! Was very pleasantly surprised by how delicious the fresh wasabi was and after trying it with my Sashimi I can't go back to the usual powdered wasabi.I've known about this place for a while but we've always gone to other sushi bars but I wish I have gone to this place a long time ago because now I know what I've missed out on all these years. Please don't make the same mistake I did and enjoy some real fresh sushi!

Really poor service. Walked in and was not acknowledged by any staff until we stood around for a while. Even the table of diners sitting nearby took notice of me and my gf standing there but staff did not. Finally after being seated it took forever just to get water and then back to being basically ignored even though the place was slow. After about twenty minutes since arrival and still no even one attempt to take our order, we just left.

Absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant. The owner/manager Sean really ensures that each ingredient is authentic and only the best of quality. Taste and presentation is perfect. Already looking forward to the next time we eat there.

I wish I knew where to start. My wife and I stopped by this great little place for lunch. We are on a business trip so we had no idea what to expect. Our waiter was fantastic and answered questions about the menu and warned us about any allergies. Everything was so fresh and the best mid-day meal in a long time. I really want to compliment the managers and staff. If I lived in Stockton I would be a regular. So come on by and give it a try. Our waiter's name was Shawn come say Hi

My fiance and I are sushi lovers!!! This place has the best sushi in San Joaquin county and I will say anywhere in California! (We have gone to MANY sushi restaurants). We have had every single roll on the menu (my favorite is the Julie Roll or Forever Love) and not one roll I have do I second guess. The sashimi is always fresh and made to order! Shawn (the owner) makes an effort to ALWAYS say hello and introduce himeself! This makes the experience personal and that much better! As long as this place stays open, we will be forever returning customers for years to come!

Quite pricey and portions were smaller compared with other restaurants. Location is excellent. Customer service wasn't so great for 2x I've been there. Owner was extra respectful but staff weren't friendly. One of them (a male staff) just tossed the bill on me the second time I was there. I just let it go at that time. An employee like that isn't good for business. Never been back since. I found another place one freeway exit away and they're much friendlier with better portions on their servings.

I love Sushi. First I'll say the atmosphere is very eye appealing. They did a great job on how the place looks. As far as the food goes... it's delicious however the pieces are way too big to really enjoy it. It's worse than a mouthful of food. Unless you're an ogre, the pieces are going to be hard to eat. Also, I think the portions are a bit small compared to other Sushi joints. Service there is Fantastic. Great people working there.

Even during COVID-19, Shawn does what he can to serve top quality sushi. Whether it is take out or dine outside, it is always amazing. Did not think to take photos today but even though sushi was on paper plate, it was made up beautifully and service was still amazing.

The service was pretty much not there.The chef and owner I believe end up serving me because the waiter was just staring at me like he never seen an Asian guy eat at a sushi place. The dish was not up to how much they are pricing it for.(dynamite roll)I was so dissatisfied that I end up walking one store to the left to buy Chinese food to wash away the sushi taste. If you are Asian don't go to this sushi place it's not an Asian experience.

The food was not worth the price. It was ok. They brought the food out at different times and they brought my 5 year olds food when we were almost finished with ours. The white peach sake is really tasty

So fresh, extremely delicious and do far everything I've tried I loved! Plus great service, they're all super nice and helpful.

First time going today, huge fan! The owner (I believe) was incredibly friendly and helpful. And the sushi (Shawn roll) was to die for! After having lived in Japan for a while, I’m pretty picky about which places I like to eat at, but the cute restaurant with great music and atmosphere is fantastic! 🍣

Omg!!!! This place is amazing!!!!! With a beautifully clean atmosphere and lovely host and chefs! Dine inside because the presentation of the food is absolutely devine, hands down best sushi ever, so incredibly fresh and to top it off they have fresh wisabi I’m talking the real deal. I recommend Amici Sushi very highly.

This is what $50 gets you. The salmon was great because it had a smoked flavor, but it was little food for the price. Additionally even though it was 3 in the afternoon and there was only 1 other table there to serve it was so slow that it took us 90 minutes to get in and get out. They forgot our napkins and chopsticks so I had to get them. Also not sure about the sanitation of their wasabi because it didn't have its own spoon so people can reach into the table cups and dig in with their fingers or already mouthed on chopsticks. Decor was nice, so combine that with good food, poor service, and questionable hygiene it's 3 stars.

This place has sushi that was SO LARGE you can’t fit it in your mouth. I understand that they want to make it look unique but it’s too large that you end up having to ruin the sushi roll in order to eat it. Extremely expensive and the sushi itself was not good.

Worthwhile stop. For a strip-mall restaurant this place is great. The pricing matches what is served. We ordered from the Chef's roll section and are very satisfied. Many of the rolls are big. It is apparent that effort is made to be somewhat unique with flavors while still providing a few of the mainstream options. Blue Fin is one of the less common items offered here that we ordered and is yum. If you're wondering about dining here, we would recommend Amici :)

This place has superb service and enjoyable food. The best restaurant around town. The food and drinks arrived rapidly and the rates were affordable. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.

The best sushi place. Everything is handrolled and it all looks like a work of art. Mood of the restaurant was amazing! The mood was very peaceful. The rolls are huge and amazing! Will definitely be there again.

I love Amici Sushi. It is by far the best sushi and sashimi I have ever had. The service is always excellent. They have a large stake selection. Yes it is a little pricey but well worth it for the quality and portion sizes. I've never had the cooked dinners but my wife who doesn't like sushi says their dinner entrees are delicious.

Delicious sushi and nigiri! I had Scallops. So sweet! And the ambiance and service is on par with Bay Area restaurants.

The food and service was amazing. The best sushi we have had in Manteca.

Went here for lunch. Had the chirashi bowl and rainbow roll, while my friend had the sashimi moriawase and a spicy tuna roll. Fish is fresh and tasty! There was no lunch crowd so it was a nice, quiet environment. Service was great a staff is friendly and welcoming.

Had the Philadelphia rolls and yellowfin sashimi. Both were very delicious. I thought the prices were a little high but with that said, I would come back tomorrow.

My favorite sushi spot- beats out a lot of bay area sushi restaurants. The freshest fish, delicious rolls, and for the 20x+ I've been here, I've never been disappointed. Service can be a bit slow but it's worth the wait! The owners Shawn & Julie are awesome.
